Miruna A. Klaus

Miruna was born in Romania and educated in Switzerland. She graduated from the University of Geneva with a bachelor in Political Sciences and International Studies.

She has more than 25 years practice in the financial industry.

From 1992 to 2010 she developed a sound Private Banking & Wealth Management experience within 3 major Swiss based banks, namely Lloyds Bank Plc, Coutts & Co (RBS Group) and Clariden Leu SA (Credit Suisse Group).

Miruna has held senior management positions in these institutions and was instrumental in setting up country marketing projects to develop Central and Eastern European regions for the said Banks.

Besides her solid private banking experience, her tax and estate planning background was keystone in the wealth development in those regions. She assisted entrepreneurs to turn the page from communist economy to open democratic markets.

Adapting to her clients’ constant and increasing demands, she wished to offer them more diversification and flexibility combined with a global and wider range of wealth and asset management services across the world.

In 2010 she decided to become an independent advisor and set up her own structure.

Miruna is an entrepreneurial professional who realised international corporate mandates amongst which:

Implementation of an operational Swiss holding structure for one of her Eastern European clients – cash management of 2 bio USD resulting from the sale of client’s oil company. Structured his family office business (office space, hiring people, real estate facilities, philanthropy projects, corporate business assistance, estate planning and tax optimization).

Development of a Pan-European structure of asset management companies. She was one of the founding partners and opened offices in Geneva, Monaco, Luxembourg and Israel. She ran the Swiss operations during 4 years.

The set-up of a commercial bank based in Eastern Africa – together and for one of her clients she built a banking business in an African emerging country.
